We are thrilled to announce that local children's author, Kelsey E. Gross, will be visiting our school on March 18th! Kelsey will be sharing her delightful picture books, "Winter: A Solstice Story" and "Summer: A Solstice Story," and leading engaging writing activities for all our students. Kelsey is passionate about inspiring young readers and writers, and she also writes middle-grade chapter books and poetry. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet a real author, learn about the writing process, and discover the magic of storytelling. We've scheduled three special presentations to ensure all our students get to participate: Grades 3-5: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM; Grades K-2: 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM; Middle School: 12:50 PM - 1:50 PM We encourage you to visit Kelsey's website at kelseyegross.com to learn more about her and her books. We look forward to welcoming Kelsey to our school and providing our students with this enriching experience. Want to purchase a copy of Kelsey's books? You can find them locally at: North Wind Books Well Read Raccoon Books & Curiosities Black Ice Comics & Books

Stanton's Snowshoe Night- Revised, See you Thursday! 6:00-7:30pm Subject: Snowshoeing Event Update: Indoor Fun & Cozy Surprises Await! Dear Stanton Families, We hope this message finds you well! Due to the unpredictable weather conditions—including slush, mud, and ice—we’ve made a few adjustments to our upcoming Snowshoeing Outdoor Event. While we won't be able to enjoy the trails as planned, we are excited to share that the event is still happening with lots of cozy and fun activities! Students will now experience a magical evening indoors, reading around the candlelit halls of our school. To add to the charm, we’ll be taking breaks with warm hot cocoa and delicious s’mores around a crackling fire outside in front of the school. It’s sure to be an evening full of warmth, laughter, and memories! We can’t wait to see everyone and enjoy this festive gathering together. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to a fun night! Warm regards, The Staff of Stanton School
